The American firm – at the moment enjoying a relaunch its 1970s All StarChuckstyle – utilised Hancock VA’s knowledge in crafted outerwear to produce a weatherised edition of the Jack Purcell style.
Constructed from water resistant materials, the Converse Jack Purcell x Hancock model comes in 3 summerseason shades: indigo, yellow and grey. Every single piece is capped with the signature Jack Purcell smile.
The footwear also feature Hancock’s Siphonia Elastica rubber-proofed uppers, alongside the firm’s manual bonding strategies, with the aim of making a clean, durable and trendy shoe.
Hancock Vulcanised Articles is a modern way of life label, offering contemporary rubber-bonded outerwear. Daniel Dunko and Gary Bott, who started the Scotland-based brand in 2012, use strategies located as far back as the nineteenth century. The pair take inspiration from British inventor Thomas Hancock, who pioneered waterproofing tactics.
